Project Bring Your Own Bag (BYOB) is a youth-led initiative part of the Youth Corps Leaders Programme, that tackles environmental-related problems in Singapore.
Project BYOB specifically tackles high plastic usage by promoting the culture of bringing your own bags to reduce high plastic wastage.
Volunteers joining this project would get to gather supporters in the Pioneer estate in cultivating the culture of bringing their bags for their daily purchases.

Do note that by participating in this opportunity, you hereby consent to have your photograph/ Video taken by Youth Crops Singapore for marketing/ promoting/ publicity and to be published on media platforms.

Engagement Volunteers
The engagement volunteer task is to engage any residents who pop by our booth. All engagement volunteers will be mending the booth of the bag stenciling activity.During the activity, engagement volunteers are to interact with the resident by doing a simple fun fact quiz while residents are stenciling the bags, and collecting an end-of-activity survey. Volunteers applying for this shift would have to attend the mandatory pre-volunteering training on the 5th of August 2023 on Zoom.More details will be updated when nearer to the event.
