Volunteer Coordinators (VCs) will be working closely with the staff from Club Rainbow (CRS), and your role includes (but not limited to):
- Conceptualizing overarching theme for the camp
- Oversee all volunteer befrienders
- Manage and liaise with potential stakeholder
- Handle logistical needs of the key events
- Manage designing, production, and distribution of publicity materials
You will be assigned to ONE of the following portfolio:
- Programmes
- Logistics
- Food & Beverages
- Marketing & Communications
- Personnel
Requirements (Pls read before applying):
- Age range: 18 - 35 years old
- Commit to weekly meetings
- Able to commit to ALL key commitment dates (stated below)
- Experience in camp planning will be a bonus!
Key Commitment Events:
1. Weekly meetings with CRS - Jan 2024 onwards
2. Befrienders' Intensive Training (BIT) - 6 April 2024, 8am - 5pm
3. Camp Preparation Tea (CPT) - 27 April 2024, 10am - 5pm
4. Camp Rainbow 2024 (4D3N) - 30 May to 2 June 2024 (inclusive of Day 0)
Total Commitment Period: January - June 2024
Key Event Locations:
1. Weekly Meetings/BIT/CPT: Club Rainbow HQ (TBC)
2. Camp Rainbow 2024: Somewhere in Woodlands
Please note:
- The key session dates and venue are to be confirmed. Volunteers are highly recommended to block the dates in their calendar.
- Additional screening by Club Rainbow Staff will be conducted before any confirmation.
- Volunteers who are able to commit to the ALL key events will be put up for consideration first.
- Service hours will only be provided during interactions with beneficiaries.
