🔧 Join Us as Volunteers for Repair Skills Workshops in Lorong Lew Lian!
Are you passionate about sustainability and interested in learning and sharing repair skills? We invite you to join our team as volunteers for a series of engaging workshops aimed at teaching repair and maintenance techniques to the residents of Lorong Lew Lian!
Requirements (Please read before applying):
- Age range: 16 to 35
- Ability to converse in English and additional mother tongue will be a bonus
- Repair skills would be a bonus!
- Available to commit to at least 1x session (other than O&T), commitment to more sessions would be appreciated!
As a Volunteer, you will be tasked the following:
- Learn skills taught during the orientation and training and apply them to guide the residents on the actual workshop day.
- Help with questions the residents may have during the workshop.
- Engage in friendly conversations and activities with residents, promoting a sense of companionship and camaraderie.
*Tasks mentioned above are non-exhaustive
We will be conducting 2 different workshops in the month of September and they are as follows.
Workshop 5 - Plumbing (14th September 2024)
Workshop 6 - Sewing and Stitching (28th September 2024)
(The Orientation and Training will be held F2F, on the 8th of September2024)
Please note: The O&T is mandatory to support volunteers in understanding their roles and the program better

- Signups are based on first come first serve basis, and on availability. Opportunity to join other workshops will be given if initial workshop is full
- Once sign-up is done, attendance is compulsory unless a valid excuse is given
