Community Fair Activity description by Youth Corps Affiliate - The Levelled Field

Hi there! We are from The Levelled Field and we have planned a hands-on activity especially for you!

I'm walking on sunshine, whoa-oh! And don't it feel good? Walk a mile in John, Jack and Jason’s shoes for a session where you get to engage in thoughtful discussions and utilise your creative skills to develop effective educational plans for the Persons With Intellectual Disabilities community!

Learn what goes into lesson-planning for PWIDs and how we can tailor lessons for them through a role playing experiential activity that first invites you to consider the different scenarios PWIDs might face in a workplace. After gaining a better understanding of the scenarios, try to create a lesson plan for PWIDs!

Get to know more about what a Befriender at The Levelled Field does and understand the thought process that goes into planning lessons at The Levelled Field as we teach PWIDs skills.

Mark your calendars! Our activity will be happening at The Red Box, L3 Office, from 3:40PM to 4:10PM. We can't wait to see you there!
