(2) Team Nila Volunteer - Event Operations
Team Nila volunteers are required to assist in (actual role will only be assigned when you report for duty):
1) Spectator Services - To maintain decorum in the seating gallery by carrying out signages.
2) Ushers & Crowd Control - To support assistance and guide the guests around the venue.
3) Referee Assistants - To assist the referee with the court readiness before the start of every match.
4) TV Assistants - To ssist for all different needs the TV compounds and the ELC offices.
5) Media Centre Assistants - To assist media-related enquires, printing of match schedule and scores, media accreditation pick-up, replenishment of refreshments.
6) To assist with the maintenance of the tidiness and cleanliness of the area.
7) Any other roles that may be required in the areas above.
Note:
- Volunteers will be required to submit a passport photo for accreditation pass. Failure to submit photo by the deadline will be rejected for the opportunity. More details will be shared via email.
- Volunteers are required to complete an online training course before the date of deployment. More details will be shared via email.
- There will be a physical briefing on 18 January (Sat) 9:30AM - 1:00PM.
- Attire - Team Nila t-shirt* with long black pants and sport shoes.
For New Volunteers:
New volunteers must read the guide/FAQs on go.gov.sg/tshirt-for-new-tn and collect their Team Nila lion t-shirt from 9 Sep 2024 onwards, at the appointed distributor before their first volunteering shift.
- Meals - A meal will be provided by the organiser.
- Volunteer are advised to travel light and bring your own water bottle to refill water.
- Shift timings are subjected to changes depending on competition schedule.
