This is a Youth Corps Singapore community service opportunity.
Food from the Heart is a non-profit organisation that feeds the needy through its food distribution programme. It started with 120 volunteers in 2003. As at the end of 2019, volunteers multiplied to over 10,000, and reached out to over 44,600 beneficiaries across Singapore.
Through this opportunity, youths can volunteer with Food from the Heart to support their manpower needs at this time through packing food packs at their warehouse.
Strict safety measures will be implemented throughout the session in adherence to the updated social distances measures. This includes:
Volunteer
Food from the Heart (FFTH) runs a food distribution programme which reaches out to more than 44,600 beneficiaries across Singapore.
Volunteers will be involved in warehouse support at Food From the Heart with interaction kept to within the YCS volunteers and FFTH staff. A virtual orientation and briefing will be conducted on 14 August 2020, 7.30pm - 8.30pm with the volunteers before the session. More details on the briefing will be sent out to you via email.
