Youth Corps Special Needs Cluster is back with Four to Jalan Jalan this November! The Jalan Jalan series is a project that the Special Needs Cluster has run from 2018 to 2019, with the main aim of creating a platform for youth and persons with special needs to interact with and forge friendships with each other, and to build awareness amongst youth on persons with special needs. For Four to Jalan Jalan, we will be engaging clients from the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore) (MDAS) to go for outings and take part in various activities together.Join us as a Volunteer Befriender (VB) or Volunteer Coordinator (VC) to befriend our friends from MDAS! All volunteers must commit to the following mandatory sessions:
Volunteer Befriender (VB)
The VB will be part of a group of 5 (consisting of 1 Volunteer Coordinator, 2 VBs and 2 MDAS clients) and will befriend the clients during the outings. Specifically, the role would include:
