We are Team BeLeafers partnering with Ground-Up Initiative to promote community building through various activities, while promoting youth volunteerism.
Through the creation of safe spaces and participating in curated nature programmes, everyone can unwind, interact with nature and play a part in building a caring inclusive community which promotes urban sustainability. The project aims to bring people from different backgrounds together and aims to cultivate understanding across different communities to bring back the kampung spirit.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to connect with others from various walks of life, and at the same time gain new experiences by participating in activities through Balik Kampung. This would allow them to better appreciate nature and meaningful relationships.
