School's out, fun's in! Coding Games for Kids is back again this June!Join us to enrich yourself and make school holidays meaningful for primary school children through the interactive coding games. Volunteers will be guiding students physically at Life Student Care in Yishun. No coding experience/ knowledge is required.If you have any inquiries, feel free to reach out to us at YouthCorps_Programmes@nyc.gov.sg.This is a Youth Corps Singapore bite-sized volunteering opportunity.
Volunteer Befriender
As a Volunteer Befriender, you will be taking on the role of keeping children engaged through coding games while making learning fun for them! Befrienders would also have to ensure a safe space for children while facilitating their learning. Sessions will be conducted in Yishun, Life Student Care.
*No coding experience/ knowledge is required!*
Befrienders will be paired with children participants during the actual session for coding games and activities.
Please note that volunteers are required to commit to the full session from 9am to 12.30pm and report to Life Student Care at 9am so that the session may commence on time.

Volunteer Coordinator
As a Volunteer Coordinator (VC), you will be empowered to facilitate creating a positive learning experience for your Volunteer Befrienders (VB) and the children!Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading hands-on practice for VBs during O&T, facilitating reflection sessions and providing feedback to them. You will also ensure safety and well-being, supporting smooth running and timely execution of the programme, and liaising with YCS staff for any updates. VCs will also be involved in supporting staff in administrative matters such as VB attendance, distributing of shirts, disseminating information to VBs.
