In celebration of National Day, #DoingGood campaign, NParks is organising a mangrove clean up at Pasir Ris Park Mangroves to encourage the community to come together and care for our environment.
Mangroves are a source of food and a nursery ground for our biodiversity and they also physically protect coastlines by breaking the sea waves during storm surges. During high tide, man-made waste such as plastics and foam pieces get trapped in our mangrove forest.
Come down to Pasir Ris Park on the 16th July at 0800hrs and you can help to clean up this fragile ecosystem so that the amazing mangrove flora and fauna can thrive for their conservation and our enjoyment.
