Lead Facilitator

As a Lead Facilitator, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading the group of volunteer befrienders (VBs) and children, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children and VBs, ensuring smooth running and timely execution of the programme activities and the conducting of pre-session briefings and debriefs for VBs.

As a KidsCount volunteer, you are required to:

• attend two mandatory Orientation and Training sessions on the 20th and 27th of February
  • Session on 20th February is conducted physically at the Red Box
• commit to at least 70% of KidsCount sessions from mid-March to mid-June 2021, including 3 rapport building sessions from 15th to 17th March (timing TBC)

Please take note that no service hours will be awarded for attending the Orientation and Training sessions. They will only be awarded from rapport building sessions onwards, where there is direct engagement with the beneficiaries.

Volunteer Befriender

As a Volunteer Befriender (VB), you will be grouped with other VBs to engage and support children in their numeracy skills through a multi-sensory and concrete representational abstract approach. You will also provide assistance to the lead facilitator, such as in technical support and managing the children’s needs.

As a KidsCount volunteer, you are required to:

• attend two mandatory Orientation and Training sessions on the 20th and 27th of February
  • Session on 20th February is conducted physically at the Red Box
• commit to at least 70% of KidsCount sessions from mid-March to mid-June 2021, including 3 rapport building sessions from 15th to 17th March (timing TBC)
