ABOUT

  • Man Fut Tong Welfare Society is providing daily door-to-door meal delivery service to elderly who are frail or are having other medical conditions. 

    Volunteers will be helping with meal deliveries happening at 10.30am (Mondays to Saturdays).

     

    Please note below and we seek your kind understanding:

    • Volunteers who may incur 3 consecutive no-show or late arrival (more than 15min) upon shift confirmation without valid reason will be discouraged from subsequent registration of this opportunity.
    • To allow more Team Nila to experience this opportunity, each volunteer may register up to a maximum of 3 shifts weekly. Thank you.

Meal Delivery Volunteer

Volunteers in this role will:

  • Assist with the door-to-door meal delivery efforts to elderly
  • Engage in small conversations with elderly as part of befriending efforts

Volunteers will report to Blk 165 Hougang Ave 1 (Hard Court outside Paya Lebar Zone 7 RC) for briefing and meal collections. Meal delivery will cover blocks within 1km radius. 

Note 1: Volunteer does not need to have own vehicle. 
Note 2: MFT may redeploy volunteer to help with other food sorting/packing duties.
