Volunteer Befriender

Your role as a Volunteer Befriender, is to

• Plan and conduct simple arts and crafts activities with the seniors (with guidance from staff)
• Engage in meaningful conversations during tea time
• Support in serving of tea and snacks (where required)
• Ensure the safety and well-being of seniors during session

Please note

• Volunteers need to be from 17 years old-35 years old 
• Volunteers will need to meet online to discuss session plans (meetings will take around 45 mins-1 hour)
• Volunteers will also need to commit to an online orientation and training session (to be confirmed by staff upon email)
