Join us as Volunteer Befrienders to engage seniors at Cornerstone Active Ageing Centre as classroom assistants in a digital literacy workshop and participate in other intergenerational activities. An appointed trainer will be conducting the workshop as you support the seniors in a small group setting. The digital literacy workshop is anchored by Empower Ageing under The Sliver Surfer Initiative.
This is a Youth Corps Singapore Bite-sized Volunteering opportunity. More details about the volunteering opportunity will relayed via Telegram. Upon confirmation, you will be invited to join a temporary Telegram group chat in the same week of the opportunity.
- CAUSES
1. Volunteer Befriender
- Assist the seniors in teaching them how to use their handphones
- Interact with seniors through games and activities
- Handle general enquiries and assistance by seniors.
- Logistics support such as setting up of the venue and distribution of materials.
