This opportunity is a youth-led initiative part of Youth Corps Leaders Programme.
I Choose Hope aims to help Study Buddies (Primary 1 - Secondary 2 students under the Study Buddy programme at CampusImpact) to choose hope - to improve their mental wellness by encouraging them to reframe their mindsets. This will be done through creating an art journal that meets their needs. The content of this journal will be created by us, while the illustrations in the art journal will be done by the children. For instance, if the question is "Fill this jar with things that make you happy", the children will draw the jar and things around the jar. This helps them feel empowered and involved in the journal. The final art journal with the questions and the children's various drawings will then be printed and used by them during the Study Buddy programme.
We are looking for a graphic designer who can design the journal and bring out the best in the children's drawings.
By joining this opportunity, you will be involved in the following areas (not limited to):
1. Attending Zoom meetings to provide your valuable feedback on the children's drawings, and suggesting areas for improvement
2. Utilising the drawings to design the journal (including multiple drafts after feedback)
3. Attending other Zoom meetings to discuss the journal
Graphic Designer
