Interested in befriending children? Wish to make a difference? Join us at the President’s Challenge Early Read programme and meet like-minded youths!In partnership with National Library Board (NLB) and Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA), the President’s Challenge Reading programme hopes to encourage children from 1 to 4 years old to cultivate an interest in reading from young through a series of interesting activities. The programme will provide you the opportunity to train and play the role of a ‘big brother/sister educator’ to the children from underprivileged backgrounds.
Interested volunteers must be able to commit to the following dates:
Orientation & Training on either 11th January 2020 @ Geylang East Public Library at Level 1 Activity Room, 1015am to 6pm OR 8th February 2020 @ ECDA @ 51 Cuppage Road #08-01 Singapore 299496 at Level 8 Training Room 1
Programme commencing on every Thursday, 230pm to 4pm from 26 March 2020 to 28 May 2020 with a minimum of 70% attendance (Orientation & Training is compulsory)

This is a compulsory session. Volunteers will only need to attend 1 of the sessions. Choose either 1 of the sessions.
