Bringing to you Project Youths Relate!— a project helmed by Youth Corps Singapore in collaboration with New Life Community Services (Youth Services)! NLCS is a not-for-profit social service agency committed to mentoring mid-risk youths by creating a positive impact on their lives, developing their resilience through nurturing mentorships and empowering them to initiate change within their communities. More about our clients’ community background: Aged 11-18 years old, both genders Mid-risk youths who may be facing one or more of the following challenges: financial difficulties, relationship issues, family dysfunction, self-esteem issues etc. Are often lacking a positive older role model/adult figure We want YOU if you: are above 18 years of age are able to commit 2-3 Saturdays per month, from April to July 2023 (Orientation & Training, Hub Session, Monthly Special), from April to July 2023 Are friendly, approachable, and are passionate about meeting and conversing with youths (BONUS) have prior experience engaging with youths Join us in our journey to befriend, support, inspire! :-) This opportunity is a youth-led initiative part of Youth Corps Leaders Programme.

Volunteers will be engaging youth from Woodlands Youth Hub to:
Orientation & Training (Compulsory):
Sessions:
Hub refers to rapport building sessions with the youth, and Monthly Specials (MS) are planned events revolving around arts, sports, cooking and self-care that you'll help to facilitate with us!
Note: you are required to attend at least 2-3 Hub sessions, and 2-3 Monthly Specials (MS)
June MS: you are required to attend June MS Prep as a pre-requisite before attending June MS
