(1) Recovery - Finish Point

Team Nila volunteers are required to assist as Recovery Crew.

Duties includes:

- Hand out water, isotonic drinks, fruits, snacks, and other recovery foods to participants. 

- Help direct runners to medical tents if they show signs of dehydration, exhaustion, or injury. Assist medical staff with basic needs or information if required.

- Keep the recovery area clean and organized, including collecting and disposing of trash and recycling materials.

- Provide words of encouragement and reassurance to runners as they complete their race. 

- Help manage the flow of runners through the recovery area to avoid congestion and ensure that everyone receives the support they need promptly.

(2) Courtesy Crew - Finish Point

Team Nila volunteers are required to assist as Courtesy Crew.

Duties includes:

- making sure the runners have their bibs on before entering the venue.

- managing crowd outside of the venue.

- guiding runners, spectators and public around the area on the crossing points, nearest MRT stations etc.

(3) Start Point Pens

Team Nila volunteers are required to assist as Hydration Station.

Duties includes:

- Help direct participants to their designated start pens based on their race categories or expected finish times.

- Provide words of encouragement and positive support to participants as they prepare for the start.

- Coordinate with other volunteers and event staff to ensure the start area operates efficiently and address any issues promptly.

(4) Precinct Management - Start Point

Team Nila volunteers are required to assist in Precinct Management.

Duties includes:

- provide directions to runners from various drop-off points (taxi stand, bus drop-off, car parks etc) to athlete village entrances.

- assists at static locations to spot distressed runners or anyone who requires assistance and alert support team.

- provide basic event information to both runners and public.

Note:

- Volunteers will need to attend a virtual briefing either on:

Session 1: 30 October 2024 (Wednesday) 7:30pm - 9pm OR

Session 2: 31 October 2024 (Thursday) 7:30pm - 9pm

- Volunteers need to be at least 16 years old.

- Volunteers will be required to be OUTDOOR for hours when performing duty.

- Attire: Team Nila tee with bermudas and covered shoes.

- Transport: There will be bus pick up at MRT stations.  Exact MRT stations will be advised nearer the event date.

(6) Massage Tent - Finish Point

Team Nila volunteers are required to assist as Massage Tent Crew.

Duties includes:

- Managing the queue of runners waiting for massages, checking them in, and ensuring that everyone gets a turn in an orderly manner.

- Helping therapists with tasks like getting fresh towels, preparing massage oils, or any other support they need to perform their work effectively.

Note:

- Volunteers will need to attend a virtual briefing either on:
