Volunteer Befriender

As a Volunteer Befriender, you will be a buddy to 1-2 children and your main role is to engage and build positive relationships with the children while ensuring their safety and well-being. You will also encourage active participation, inclusive interaction, and gather valuable feedback to continuously improve the programme.

Requirements (Please read through before applying):

• Age range: 17-35 years old
• Required to attend 1 orientation and training before the session

Commitment dates:

Please note the following details:

• The Orientation & Training (O&T) will be compulsory. Volunteers who are unable to attend might not be allowed to join the actual session
• Transportation WILL NOT be provided
• Shortlisted volunteers will be notified between 28th Aug to 1st Sep
• Kindly write in to ycd@carecorner.org.sg to check on your registration status if you have not received any updates by 1st Sep
• Service hours will not be provided for O&T (Kindly clarify with the YCDT staff if required)

Volunteer Coordinator

As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will lead a group of volunteers and children through a series of activities around the park. Your role includes:

• Coordinate and facilitate the group movement during the activities
• Ensure smooth running and timely execution of the programme
• Ensure the safety and well-being of volunteers and children throughout the walk
• Conduct briefing and debrief sessions
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the programme
