Volunteer (Group IC)

Your role as the Volunteer (Group IC) is to:

• Support staff in being liason for Volunteer Befrienders
• Support staff in coordination of session & partner with them to create a joyful atmosphere for all
• Facilitate group engagements between seniors and Volunteer Befrienders
• Where necessary, facilitate briefing and debrief sessions
• Ensure safety of Volunteer Befrienders and Seniors

Requirements (Please read before applying)

• Age range: 17-35 years old
• Able to attend Orientation and Training on 7 May
• Commit to minimum 3 sessions (including the first session)
• Have an enthusiastic personality
• Preferable for volunteers to be fluent in Mandarin/Mother Tongue
• Prior experience in group facilitation is a bonus!

• All volunteers are required to wear a mask at all times.
• Volunteers who are able to commit to all sessions will be prioritised.

Volunteer Befriender

Your role as a Volunteer Befriender is to:

• Assist seniors during exercise sessions to ensure their safety
• Encourage seniors to participate actively
• Engage in meaningful conversations with seniors during tea break
• Support staff in serving refreshments to seniors
  

Requirements (Please read before applying):

• Age range:17-35 years old
• Commit to min 3 sessions minimally 
  
• Preferable for volunteers to be fluent in Mandarin/Mother Tongue
• Befriending experience would be a bonus!

• Volunteers who can make it for more sessions will be prioritised
