Carnival Operation - Partnership

Volunteers are required to assist in the following:

1) Information Booth/Fringe Activity Coordinator - Ensure smooth facilitation of fringe activities and other adhoc support

Attire: Team Nila t-shirt, black pants/black jeans (no ripped jeans), covered shoes

BYOB: Bring along your own water bottle to keep yourself hydrated. Water refill points are available on site.

Event Operation - General

Volunteers will be required to support the following:

1) Accreditation & Access Control - ensure only authorised personnel enter the venue

2) Players Lounge - Ensure a clean and comfortable environment for players to rest in

3) Information Booth - Answer public enquiries and distribute flyers for publication/survey forms

The above list is non-exhaustive and staff in-charge may delegate other tasks to ensure smooth running of operations. Roles will be assigned on the day of duty and volunteers may be rotated to different roles based on operational needs.

Event Operation - South Foyer Warm Up

Volunteer will be required to support the following:

1) First point of contact for players in the event if players require assistance

2) Ensure sufficient supply of drinks available in the warm-up courts for players

Pre-requisite:

- Volunteers with experience in badminton tournament are preferred.

- Volunteers who are able to commit to multiple shifts throughout the event are preferred.

Event Operation - Tournament

Volunteer will be required to support the following:

1) Communicate with match officials on latest results and timing of tournament

2) Prepare and stand-by players for tournament

Pre-requisite:

- Volunteers with experience in badminton tournament are preferred.

- Volunteers who are able to commit to multiple shifts throughout the event are preferred.

Players' Services - Hotel Operation

Volunteers will be required to support the following:

1) Hotel Secretariat - aid the Hotel Secretariat IC in ensuring operations run smoothly

2) Transport and Booking Officer - guide players to shuttle bus to OCBC Arena/Singapore Indoor Stadium/Airport and facilitate booking of facilities (training courts)
