Singapore Police Force’s (SPF) episodic volunteering programme aims to provide more opportunities for citizens with a diverse range of skills, experience, and knowledge, to join onboard with SPF as our advocates and partners in carrying out SPF’s mission. The opportunities available will provide citizens flexibility to volunteer depending on their availability and skill sets. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES We have a range of volunteer opportunities, and we work with volunteer applicants to find the ideal assignment. Volunteers may perform duties such as assisting in Police roadshows and Police community engagement events, assisting to design and create infographics, conducting community engagement talks, etc. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS • Singapore Citizen & Singapore PR • Aged 18 – 79 years old • Pre-requisites may be required for some of the assignments (e.g., Language proficiency, Certification, Portfolio, etc.) • Volunteers must comply with confidentiality requirements and police policies, where applicable TRAINING AND DEPLOYMENT A short briefing or on-the-job training will be provided to our volunteers prior to the start of the engagement to equip our volunteers with the necessary information to succeed in their role.
