CGH believes in delivering the best patient care with passion and empathy. To improve care for patients, CGH has adopted a proactive integrated care approach. CGH aims to deliver better, seamless and Integrated Medical services by partnering healthcare providers in the east and innovating by adopting new medical technologies and systems. Our CGH volunteers or “Friends of CGH” consist of caring members of the public who work hand in hand with the hospital to touch the lives of our patients. Through being part of this team, individuals have the opportunity to develop their talents and skills, as well as give back to the community in an impactful manner. Our volunteers experience a feeling of satisfaction and joy when making a positive contribution to our community, and are an inspiration to those around them. An extension of our CGH family, our volunteers come from all walks of life – from retirees and homemakers who actively participate in our patient engagements, to student groups who help with surveys, porterage and administrative tasks. Volunteers with limited time can participate in ad-hoc projects such as our public forums and year-end events.
